Well, I suppose it had to happen eventually… I tried my best to quit the financial systems circuit, but they just keep pulling me back in…
OK – well, it’s not really all that dramatic. I’m going back to one of the places I’ve worked before, but this time as a contractor. In a way, I’m really looking forward to it. The environment is familiar, but the working conditions will be much better because I bill for every hour I work, which is *not* the situation that existed when I was a full-time employee. Quite frankly, I like it much better this way. It’s a short-term engagement, which gives me some income stability with the option to jump back to working on film and TV projects as the opportunities arise.
