Wow. That’s all I have to say at this point. Wow. Yesterday was far and away the worst day of my life. I’ve just now returned to polite society after spending the better part of the last 30 hours pointing each end of my digestive tract at the porcelain appliance in the bathroom. In hindsight (no pun intended) I recall a news report from sometime earlier in the fall where the CDC was strongly advocating flu vaccinations. At this point, I couldn’t agree more. Even if you catch a strain of flu that’s not a constituent of the strains that make up the vaccine, it will make your case milder and shorter-lived. Trust me. If you catch what I got, you want it to go as quickly as possible. Word to the wise – get your flu vaccine, kids.
