I had a chance to meet David Mattey a few months ago while demo’ing the SmartAV Tango in my studio. Over lunch he talked about some of the projects he’s working on – including a guest role on “Supernatural“, one of Julie’s favorite shows. He had just gotten back from filming that episode, and had some fun anecdotes to share.
David’s character is a ghost that spreads fear like a disease. The back story is tragic, and David makes the antagonist both empathetic and frightening. It’s always fun to watch talented actors “slip into character” and perform – particularly when you’ve had a chance to personally interact with them enough to know how far they’ve reached to fill a role – and this was no exception. Well done, David!
